Pabedan  Township  located in the center of downtown Yangon has area of 0.76 km.It consists of eleven wards and shares borders with Kyauktada Township in the east, Seikkan Township and Yangon River in the south, Latha Township in the west and Dagon Township in the north. The township is home to three primary schools, three midddle schools and three high schools.B.E.H.S 2 Pabedan is famous high school in Yangon.It also has colonial period buildings.Bogyoke Aung San Market and Theingyi Market, two of the largest shopping centers in all of Yangon,are situated in the township.Township's transportation sounds nice too.For the township is  rich in population,merchants and customers ,most of residents live in apartments and condominiums.When it was in British colonial period,the apartments have been built  systematically.So,vacant  plots of land are rarely to be seen.Few plots of land are too dear to purchase.It has demand for flats and vacant spaces for rent.You can see either ancient and valuable  buildings or ancient British culture like other main downtown townships(Latha,Lanmadaw,Kyauktada, Botahtaung and Pazuntaung).
