Area is  South to North 20 miles, East to West 37 miles , bounded by 64 villages. General Administration office, Lawcourt, Police department, Post office, Hospital and markets are on downtown of Kyauktan. The township has  3 primary schools, 1 high school and 21 monasteries. Most of people in township are cultivating and farming. Compare with downtown of Yangon, township has wide farms and yards so that can get fresh air and stay freely.
