Queen drummer Roger Taylor wants to be a real estate champion.
He is attempting to get in the rhythm of selling his 1933 Hollywood Hills hacienda, listing the perfectly preserved Spanish Revival for $6,195,000.
It appears the British-born rocker has been renting out the Los Angeles property for some time, listing it for as much as $20,000 per month and most recently for $18,000.
It’s understandable how both renters and full-time residents would adore this 4,368-square-foot home on King’s Road, coincidentally just a stone’s throw from Queen’s Way, both overlooking the notoriously action-filled section of the Sunset Strip.

Taylor’s 0.3-acre property is a kingdom in and of itself, filled with mature trees, verdant vines, and native plants.

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bath dwelling has the sumptuous features of a Spanish-style home of the 1930s, complete with the tile roof, thick plaster walls with arched passageways, brick, wood-plank and terra-cotta tiles underfoot, multiple fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and wrought-iron balconies.

A fun fact about Taylor, 74, is that he turned down the opportunity to become the drummer for Genesis, a position eventually filled by Phil Collins.
At the time, Taylor and Freddie Mercury were on the verge of starting Queen.
Taylor not only played the drums for the iconic group, but he also sang vocals (often falsetto) and composed some of Queen’s hits, including “These Are the Days of Our Lives,” “Under Pressure,” and “Radio Ga Ga.”
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
