A breathtaking estate that was once home to late fashion designer Max Azria has had its asking price slashed by $16 million—just six months after pop star Jennifer Lopez was reported to have been "in negotiations" to buy it.
The Los Angeles home, which is known as the Azria Estate, has been listed for sale on multiple occasions since 2015—with an initial asking price of $85 million, which was increased to $88 million the following year.
It has since been on and off the market 10 times.
Most recently, the 14-bedroom compound was relisted in April 2024, this time with a price tag of $55 million—and just five months later, TMZ claimed that chart-topper Lopez was "in negotiations to buy" the home in the wake of her highly publicized divorce from Ben Affleck.
The pop star, who is currently in the process of trying to sell the $68 million marital mansion that she and Affleck once shared, had previously featured the property in her movie "Atlas," and was understood to have toured the megamansion with her former husband in 2023 when they were looking for a home to buy.

Lopez never publicly commented on the claims and the property remained on the market, suggesting that no deal was ever reached between the seller and the "Jenny From the Block" singer.
