In a peculiar turn of events that has both amused and alarmed social media users, a seemingly harmless mosquito turned out to be the unlikely cause behind the destruction of a high-end smart TV worth several lakhs.

The incident unfolded in the living room of a young man’s home, where his son was peacefully watching cartoons.
As the child remained engrossed in his favourite show, a mosquito buzzed into the room and landed squarely on the television screen.
Irritated by its presence and lacking any mosquito repellent at hand, the father decided to take matters into his own hands.
With no coil, spray, or net nearby, he grabbed a badminton racket and attempted what he thought would be a light swat.
The mosquito may or may not have survived – but the TV certainly didn’t.
The racket struck the screen, cracking it beyond repair.
What was supposed to be a minor nuisance turned into a major financial setback.
“My son looked at me and just said, ‘Papa, what have you done?'" the young man reportedly recounted later, still stunned by the turn of events. The damage, unfortunately, was irreversible.
His wife, meanwhile, took the mishap in stride, quipping, “Next time, we’ll buy the mosquito spray before the TV."
The moment has since become a source of laughter in their household, but not without a sharp lesson about impulsive decisions, especially when expensive electronics are involved.
