Yangon Region Government Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein received Thai Business Association in Myanmar (TBAM) delegation led by Thailand’s Ambassador to Myanmar, H.E.
Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitree Phithak at the diplomatic room of the office of Yangon Region Government, according to Yangon Region Government.
At the meeting, there were discussions on expanding trade and investment opportunities for Thai businessmen in 11 industrial zones which will emerge in Yangon Region, according to reports.
The meeting was attended by Col. Aung Soe Moe, Minister of Security and Border Affairs, U Han Tun, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Energy, Daw Nilar Kyaw, Minister of Electricity, Industry, Transport and Communication and departmental officials.
