John Travolta and Kelly Preston have quietly parted with their Spanish-style Los Angeles mansion for $18 million, according to property records.
The home, in the city’s upscale Brentwood neighborhood, changed hands on Jan. 6, in what appears to be an off-market transaction.
The buyer is a trust linked to talent manager Scott “Scooter” Braun, who already owns the 11,100-square-foot estate directly next door, records with PropertyShark show.
Mansion Global could not identify the brokerages involved on either side of the transaction.
Built in 1949, the home sits on a larger-than-usual lot for the neighborhood, spanning more than two acres, according to past listing information.
It also has beamed ceilings, tile floors, imported stone mantles and a screening room, according to the Los Angeles Times, who first reported the sale.
Aerial images show a winding drive leading to a motor court, verdant lawns, a tennis court and a pool.
The “Pulp Fiction” actor and aviation enthusiast and Ms. Preston, have owned the home since 1997, when they paid $3.5 million for the spread, listing records show.
The pair owned the home through their go-to “Hawker Investment Trust,” of which Mr. Travola’s sisters are listed as trustees.
Mr. Travolta, 65, is well known for starring in “Saturday Night Fever,” “Grease” and more recently, FX’s series “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”
Ms. Preston, 57, starred in “Jerry Maguire” and “The Cat in the Hat.”
Mr. Braun, 38, is a talent manager and record-label executive whose clients include Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Kanye West.
Representatives for Mr. Travolta, Ms. Preston and Mr. Braun could not immediately be reached for comment.
