In drawing end year of October 2019, the kyat-dollar exchange rate is K 1532 per US dollar and decreased by k1510 per US dollar.
In the first week of January 2020, the value of the U.S dollar gradually dropped K1479 per dollar.
Experts say the decline of the U.S dollar is linked with low demand in the domestic market and businessmen have slashed their investment in production and save using foreign currency.
The decline in the value of U.S. dollar is not a negative thing because it has gradually declined but not slumped.
