Yangon Region is to electrify more than 2000 villages at the end of 2020 according to Myanmar Electrification Corporation.
Yangon Region is using 45 percent of the entire country’s electricity.
In phase 1 of electrification, Yangon Region will light up 206 villages with the fund of Yangon Region Government.
