The actress sold the 2,905-square-foot California house, which she bought in 2016, at a loss.
Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson sold her Mid-Century Modern home in Los Angeles last week for $2.17 million, less than what she paid for it in 2016, according to records.
The property listed in April for $2.34 million before taking a series of price cuts over the next few months and ultimately selling for $2.17 million, according to Redfin.
Property records show that Ms. Larson purchased the house through a trust three years ago for $2.25 million. Tori Horowitz of Compass had the listing.
Ms. Horowitz did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house was completed in 1952. Listing photos show floor-to-ceiling windows throughout providing lots of natural light to the airy, open-concept space.
The kitchen looks out onto a central courtyard which allows for al fresco dining.
Listing photos show lush gardens and wooded landscaping surrounding the property.
Ms. Larson, 29, won an Academy Award in 2015 for her leading role in “Room.” She recently starred in “Captain Marvel” and “Avengers: End Game” as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.
