Construction and Housing Development Bank (CHDB) provides loans to the construction entrepreneurs who build the government housing projects as well as to the private contractors, according to the CHDB.
The construction entrepreneurs can obtain the loans from the CHDB for the construction of private housings and apartments by being in pawn at the CHDB, said Daw Myint Myint Mu, Executive Director of Financial and Banking Centre of CHDB.
“We take 12 percent of interest rate for the construction of private housings projects and 11 percent of interest rate for the government housings projects,” she added.
At present, CHDB provides MMK 132 billion of loans for the government housing projects, private construction entrepreneurs and those who want to purchase housings, according to the figures published by the CHDB.
Meanwhile, the Construction and Housing Development Bank (CHDB) is supporting loans for those who want to buy the affordable apartments which are being built by the Ministry of Construction and the relevant regional governments.
