To Build Government’s Housings In Mandalay Region
The housings are being built for the civil servants in Mandalay Region with the budget of more than MMK 3.7 billion, said U Thet Naing, Director of the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
These housing projects have been implementing in eight townships of Mandalay Region at the budget of MMK 3.788 billion since April. The projects comprise 240 plus rooms, he said.
“The construction has been starting since April and it is expected to be completed in September, he explained.
More than 56,000 employees are serving in the various governments’ agencies in Mandalay Region. But, only four in one hundred people could be allocated in the government’s housings. Therefore, more housing projects are going to be implemented to be convenient for the servants in Mandalay Region.
These housings are being constructed in Myinchan, Meikhtilar, Tharsi, Yamethin, Kyaukpandaung, Mahlaing, Mogok and Nyaung Oo Townships. The total 18 units of housings will be constructed.
Currently, more than 2700 units of government housings have been implemented in Mandalay Region, according to the data of the Department of Urban and Housing Development, Mandalay Region.
