The Low-Cost Apartments Can Be Purchased With Bank Savings Amount of 2 Million MMK
According to the Department of Urban and Housing Development, people who have savings amount of 2 million MMK, 20% of the low-cost apartments’ price at the Construction and Housing Dvelopment Bank (CHDB) are able to apply to buy these apartments.
Previously, they have to pay 30% in purchasing the low-cost apartment by linking with CHDB. But now, the 20% of the aparment’s cost price have to be paid in purchasing the low-cost apartments which will be sold at the end of this month, said a responsible person of the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
“Those whose savings amount is up to 20%of the apartment’s price at CHDB can apply to purchase low-cost apartments which will be sold at the end of this month. Those who will get a chance to buy will be decided by drawing lots,” he said.
It is noted that the apartments for sales are the low-cost apartments are the low-cost apartments of Shwelinpan housings in Hlaingtharyar Township, Yazana Housing part (1) and (2).
According to the CHDB, it is known that if they buy an apartment valued about 10 million MMK, they have to pay 20% of the cost price as initial payment and the rest amount can be paid with 8 years to 10 years installment plan.
“Previously, we can buy an apartment when we have 30% saving amount at CHDB. But now, we have a chance to own an apartment with 20% saving amount. So, this is a good chance for us to be able a house,” said Daw Thinzar, Company Staff.
The total (8) branches of the Construction and Housing Development Bank (CHDB) have been opened: (4) branches in Yangon Region, (1) branch in Mandalay, (1) branch in Naypyitaw, (1) branch in Mawlamyaing and (1) branch in Pathein respectively.
