Actor Jim Carrey has cut another $1 million off the price of his longtime Los Angeles mansion, after a pending deal fell through, and is now asking $18.75 million The comedic actor initially listed the 2-acre property in Brentwood for $10 million more in early 2023, but chopped the price several times before it went into contract in December, when it was asking $19.75 million. The deal never closed and the property returned to the market in February.
The 63-year-old Carrey, most recently of the “Sonic the Hedgehog” trilogy, purchased the home on North Tigertail Canyon Road in 1994.
Built in 1951, the ranch-style home spans over 10,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms, an Art Deco-style theater, a round sunroom, and a covered patio that leads to the pool deck with its own waterfall.
Pathways and trails lead to various garden areas, and one leads to a standalone structure with a yoga and meditation space.

The grounds also include a tennis court and a guest house, per the listing with Graham J. Larson of Sotheby’s International Realty. The agent did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
While Carrey’s home was not directly impacted by the Palisades fire in January, the conflagration came close enough to require evacuation from the property as the blaze approached the Mandeville Canyon area, between Brentwood and the Palisades.
