Ana de Armas has traded in Venice Beach for Vermont.
The actress reportedly decided to flee the high-profile Los Angeles lifestyle after being besieged by paparazzi during her brief relationship with "Justice League" star Ben Affleck from 2020 to 2021.
She reportedly had lived in Venice Beach, CA, for about seven years before moving in with Affleck in his Pacific Palisades pad.
The two met while filming the thriller "Deep Water," and they went on to date for nearly a year after that, subjecting themselves to the harsh glare of publicity.

She left Los Angeles after their relationship ended in January 2021 and chose a much lower-wattage rural escape.
Affleck went on to rekindle an ill-fated romance with Jennifer Lopez. De Armas was reported to have relocated to New York City with her beau at the time, Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis, according to Elle, before making the decision to snag her Vermont getaway.
“Nowadays, we all want to go away from the craziness of the world,” she told E! News. “We all want to have the chance to build your own safe space. I’ve made that decision myself.
“I found a home where I really feel off the grid. I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I have my little cocoon there,” she added.
The "Blonde" star purchased a rural retreat in the Green Mountain State for $7.2 million in November 2022, records show. The luxury home had been on the market for $7,495,000, so de Armas was able to negotiate a deal for the fully furnished six-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence.
Even so, the final price was miles above the median home price of $850,000 in the historic town of Woodstock.
