Brazil's home in Qatar, uncovered: this is where Neymar, vincius and Co will live and train

MARCA gained exclusive access to the facilities in Doha that will host Tite's team during the World Cup.

Direct from Turin, Brazil landed on Saturday night in Doha, where everything was ready for their stay during the 2022 World Cup. Their home will be the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa and the Grand Hamad Stadium, the combination that was chosen, and announced in March, after the meticulous evaluation of 17 options since August 2019.

MARCA had access to the Grand Hammad, inaugurated in 1990 and chosen among other reasons for the quality of its turf, in perfect condition despite the high temperatures in the central region of Doha. With a capacity of some 13,000 spectators, between the stands and the dugouts there is a scaffolding from which members of the technical committee follow the training sessions, something that Luis Enrique made popular in Spain.

Beyond this key point, the condition of the entire structure of the sports complex was also highly praised. The changing room, with individual and personalized lockers and a central table for equipment or food, overlooks two pools for recovery, showers, toilets and spaces for treatment on stretchers and with ice.

Slogans are constant, such as "Concentrate and enjoy" on one side of the locker room. Also decorating the walls of the various corridors and areas are various inspirational messages spoken by Tite: "Prepare well to deserve to win", "Seize the moment of confidence", "Courage".... These motivational phrases are mixed with memories of the matches that have led Brazil to this World Cup and with iconic images of the five previously conquered. These five achievements are represented with the respective golden stars on a wall, with a sixth dark one above, pending incorporation.

There are shared areas, such as the chat room, which consists of a large TV, with a projector screen above, 26 u-shaped chairs and a table with TV, computer and printers to hone in on the study of the rivals. Also threre's a gym, with an endless number of machines.

And there are very specific areas for the different departments of the expedition: for Tite and his collaborators, including Juninho Paulista, there is one with 15 lockers; for the medical staff, another with nine; and for those in charge of the equipment, another with three.

Pure leisure: video games, billiards, ping-pong... Another of the buildings is the recreational area for the footballers, who will spend a good number of idle hours at the tournament. In addition to a ball pool for the enjoyment of the youngest members of the squad, there is a lounge with televisions accompanied by video game consoles, billiards or pingpong. They certainly won't get bored...
