With Ireland’s housing crisis showing few signs of abating, businesses are increasingly having to step in with staffing accommodation, including by buying or renting real estate. It’s impacting firms of all stripes, although the services industry appears particularly afflicted. Ireland has among the highest housing costs in the EU and services roles are typically not as well paid as those in the country’s out-sized multinational sector. Ryanair Holdings Plc confirmed it had bought 25 houses for staff earlier this year following a Business Post report, while luxury hotel group Killarney Hotels Collection also advertises subsidized housing for prospective...

Elon Musk may be shacked up in a $4.3 million home in Austin with his Neuralink employee who he secretly fathered twins with in November. Musk, 51, and Shivon Zilis, 36, a top executive at his AI company, filed a petition in April to change the twins' names in order to 'have their father's last name and contain their mother's last name as part of their middle name,' Insider reported. In those forms, both Musk and Zilis listed the home she purchased last August as their residence, which is located about five hours away from Musk's primary residence in Boca Chica, near his SpaceX's launch facility. In May, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Musk also owns a $50,000 unassuming home in...

The ongoing feud between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg took a fresh turn on Friday after videos of the Meta chief surfing went viral. The tech billionaire appeared to mark the Fourth of July by riding a surf board whilst he waved an American flag and sipped beer. The Qatari government is listing a Manhattan townhouse for less than it paid for the home in 2013. Qatar, which bought the Beekman Place house as an official state residence for $34.35 million, is putting it on the market for $32 million, according to Les Meyers of Compass, one of the listing agents. Meyers noted that the original purchase price included the furnishings, which aren’t included in the current listing. Still, the luxury market has “taken alittle bit of a hit” since the frothy days of 2013, he said. A nearby townhouse sold last year for $27.5 million, far less than its original $49.9 million asking price, property records show. (The government of Qatar is...
