The Yangon City Development Committee has begun drawing up car parking lines in Kyauktada and other six townships, according to YCDC.
The colours are divided into three, namely, red, yellow and green and it will be charged K 200, K 300 and K 500 per hour according to colours, YCDC said.
As there are undisciplined car parking due to the lack of parking fees, it needs to re-establish the car parking system on roads in six townships such as Lanmadaw, Latha, Pabedan, Kyauktada, Botahtaung and Pazundaung.
The first Pilot Project is being tested in Kyauktada township and it will be continued to establish in other six townships in Yangon. The three tender winner companies were selected to operate the project.
