The export strategy to be implemented by 2020-25

The National Export Strategy 2020 will be implemented by 2020-25, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Commerce U Aung Htoo said. This strategy includes the sectors of agriculture-based food production, textiles and clothing, industry and electricity as key components.

And the fishery sector is also involved. In addition, the sectors of forestry sector, digital products and services, Logistics, Quality management, Trade Information Services, innovation and entrepreneurship are also involved, according to reports.

The strategy will be coordinated by government and private sector organizations. By doing so, it will create a favorable environment for export-based economic growth for Myanmar.

It will also enable small and medium-sized businesses to set and achieve all-inclusive vision of competitiveness in the global market in short term.
