Discussion on electricity generation from waste products

Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy U khin Maung Win received the delegation led by Dr. Peter Kim, Managing Director of AKORE MYANMAR Investment Group at the office Number (27), the meeting hall of Ministry of Electricity and Energy on 7 January, 2020, according to MOEE.

At the meeting, they discussed matters relating to electricity generation from rubbish, the U.S Environmental Energy and Finance Corporation ( EEFC ) will invest in this project, electricity generation process with the use of Gasification method to remove various types of waste with the Eco-Friendly type for reducing environmental damage.

They also discussed the cooperation with the respective regional governments for project implementation.

The seminar was attended by Chiefs of Ministry of Electricity and Energy and officials of AKORE MYANMAR Investment Group.
