Kelly Osbourne certainly isn’t on the “Crazy Train.” In fact, the daughter of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne and TV hostess just made an awesome choice, in our opinion! Osbourne just dropped $3.575 million on an incredibly unique two-bed, two-bath home in the Los Feliz Oaks. But in traditional Hollywood manner, this property has been through quite a few famous hands. You see, actress Rooney Mara bought the home back in 2015, from none other than Big Little Lies villain Alexander Skarsgard for $2.9 million. (Coincidentally, Rooney co-starred with Alexander’s dad, Stellen Skarsgard, in the 2011 film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.) She originally listed it back in May of 2017 for $3.895 million, before giving it a nice little price chop down to $3.45 million. Osbourne was willing to fight for it, though, and ended up spending $3.575 million. Rooney, we’re guessing, is spending more time with her boyfriend, Joaquin Phoenix.
Beautifully restored to its full Mid-Century Modern glamour, this architectural gem, which was built in 1963, is tucked away on a cul-de-sac in the Oaks neighborhood of Los Feliz. Measuring 2340 square feet, it’s the epitome of sophisticated modernism. Osbourne has owned a variety of interesting properties in the past. Back in 2015 after she quit E!’s Fashion Police, she listed her home in the “Bird Streets” of the Hollywood Hills for $1.999 million. In 2014, she listed her Robert Byrd-designed West Hollywood home for $1.349 million, eventually selling it for $1.3 million.
