Affordable Apartments Are To Be Build in Four Areas Of Mandalay Region
The affordable apartments will be built in Thanmataw, Botetkone and Maekingone in Patheingyi Township and 59 street and Myat Lay road in Chanmyatharsi Township, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
Concerted efforts are being made to get land access and the design of the project is being drafted by the Mandalay regional government, said U Thet Naing, Director of the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
“It is important to be affordable price. In some areas, the apartments’ prices are too much cost and so it is difficult for the buyers. So, we will surely make to reduce the apartments’ prices as much as possible,” he said.
The apartments will be simultaneously built on the 33 acres of land in four areas to be completed in late 2019, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development, Mandalay Region.
The Department of Urban and Housing Development, Mandalay Region plans the apartments to be priority sold to the retired civil servants, company’s employees, low income public and homeless people, according to a release by the Department.
