Housings Project To Be Implemented For Civil Servants and Government Pensioners By Guidance of State Counselor Daw Aung San Su Kyi
The rental housings and sales housings project for the civil servants and retired persons are being implemented by the guidance of State Counselor Daw Aung San Su Kyi.
It is planning to build the project on the 183 acres of land in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township, said Minister Daw Ni Lar Kyaw at the Parliament.
“State Counselor, Daw Aung San Su Kyi, guided to provide effective benefits for the government’s employees in order to improve their lifestyles. Therefore, we submit the proposal to implement rental housings for the current serving civil servants, retired persons and low-income and medium-income public and sales housings for the public,” Daw Ni Lar Kyaw added.
The project involves rental housings for government’s employees, sales housings and mixed use. The project will be estimate cost at MMK 358.717 billion. The project’s period is set 2018-2022. It aims to fulfill the housings for the civil servants, retired persons and low-income and medium-income public in order to secure their life and to fulfill their social, economic and physical status, said Daw Ni Lar Kyaw.
The pledge ceremony of the project was held on 27th August, 2017. Currently, the government is undertaking ground analysis, drawing main project’s design, drawing architectural drafting and designs of eight rental housings and 256 rooms and inviting tenders for construction and analysis for sales housing as pre-project activities.
