A meeting with the representatives from the relevant ministries was held at the Office of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) for fixing priorities of the projects which are going to be implemented along the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor on April 27, 2018.
The project will be implemented starting from the China-Myanmar border to Yangon. At the meeting, the relevant ministers negotiated to implement the infrastructure works regarding with the project as priority, said a senior official.
“We have already negotiated about the project and we just need to sign the agreement,” he said.
China-Myanmar Economic Corridor is one of the One Belt and One Road project. And then, the railways and roads will be built. The key investment enterprises are Chinese Government-owned enterprises.
The Directorate of Investment and Company Administration attended the coordination meeting to sign China-Myanmar Economic Corridor MoU held in Beijing in February.
