Economic Zones to Be Built along Ayeyarwady River for Myanmar’s Future Development
The Myanmar-China cooperation means on mutual friendship and mutual dependence. The economic zones are necessary to be built along Ayeyarwady River for the country’s development in future, said Mr.Tuan Zhen Li, Vice Chairman of World Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.
Myanmar-China Economic Cooperation and Fintech Development Summit Forum was held on April 4 at MICC-II, Naypyidaw.
“The first step in the Myanmar’s future economic development is to build economic zones along the Ayeyarwady River. Yangon, Naypyitaw and Mandalay are the hub cities on the route of economic zone.
At present, China’s large firms cooperate with Myanmar’s firms in social, education and health sectors,” Mr.Tuan Zhen Li, Vice Chairman of World Chinese General Chamber of Commerce said.
In addition he said, Myanmar-China friendly festivals are being held by Myanmar-based China embassy. And then, the China investment companies help the Myanmar refugees affected by the natural disasters.
The forum aims to upgrade the e-commerce system by introducing the block-chain technology. Acting Director, Myanmar First Blockchain Company, Thaw Tun Aung said “We would like to upgrade the e-commerce sector in Myanmar. And another one is to exchange the block-chain technology in Myanmar so we organized this forum. We will target for using the card payment system in the future so we have to build the third party payment for the development of economic as well.”
The Vice Chairman of Union Parliament, U Aye Thar Aung and Members of Parliament, Bankers, local and foreign economists attended to the Myanmar-China Economic Cooperation and Fintech Development Summit Forum.
