Second Phase of Bo Ba Htoo Affordable Housing on Sale

The apartments of the second phase of Bo Ba Htoo affordable housing project can be purchased by whoever comes first, according to a statement of Yangon City Development Committee.

The second phase of Bo Ba Htoo affordable housing project cost K 30 billion is constructed closed to the first phase of Bo Ba Htoo affordable housing project and is located in a corner of Bo Mhu Ba Htoo Road and Ba Yint Naung Road, Dagon Myothit (north) township.

The second phase of Bo Ba Htoo affordable housing project includes 27 units of 8-storey building and 864 rooms including 19 units of 8-storey building, 927 feet width and 8 units of 8-storey building, 614 feet width.

At first, the apartments were allocated by a lucky-draw system and more than 5000 applications have been received. It was set to pay the initial payment during two months started from October 17 to December 17 but there were payment for only 452 units but not for 412 units.

Therefore, the remaining 412 units have been deleted from the purchase lists. And then, they are allowed to be purchased by whoever comes first starting from March 28, according to an announcement by the Department of Engineering under the Yangon City Development Committee.

There are two types of rooms available, categorized in terms of size 614-square feet rooms cost K 28.5 million and 927-square feet rooms cost K 37.7 million. Upon agreement to purchase, customers are required to make a down payment of 30 percent and the remaining can be paid through both installment plans and bank loans.

The residents in the second phase of Bo Ba Htoo affordable housing project will be able to live in the modern lifestyle and the other facilities such as children playground and amusement parks are also provided.
