Resort Project To be Implemented on 22 acres of Land Near 76 miles on Yangon-Mandalay Highway
A resort project based on the Bago’s local products and natural resources will be implemented on 22 acres of land near 76 miles on Yangon-Mandalay Highway, according to the Bago Regional Government.
The project will be built by Chindwin River Project Co,.Ltd with the aim that it will become a major place which sells the local paintings, sculptures, decorative items, furniture, souvenirs and local products. Moreover, it is aimed to sell the crops and livestock products. It depends on the plantations of the local residents. So, efforts are being made to create job opportunities for the local people and to undertake the environmental conservation activities.
The project can be helpful to create the local people’s job opportunities, education sector and health sector.
The project is a eco-tourism project which can obtain foreign income so the Government is going to coordinate the project in accordance with the laws and regulations, said a responsible official of Bago Regional Government.
