Low-Cost And Fair-Cost Housings Can Be Bought Without Bank Savings

The low-cost housings and fair-cost housings under sales by the Department of Urban and Housing Development under Yangon Regional Government can be bought by the instant customers without bank savings, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development.

The 862 apartments will be mostly sold to the low-income public and private employees through the plan of the Department of Urban and Housing Development under Yangon Regional Government. Those who have bank savings and the instant customers can apply to buy the low-cost housings and fair-cost housings, said Director U Yu Khaing of the Department of Urban and Housing Development under Yangon Regional Government.

“The low-cost and fair-cost housings are allotted: 35 percent for low-income people, 25 percent for government employees, 15 percent for pensioners and the remaining 25 percent for private employees. So, we plan four types of application forms,” he said.

The value of low-cost apartments is set starting from K 9.8 million up to K 13 million. The value of fair-cost apartments is set starting from K 30 million up to K 50 million and K 60 million. The low-cost and fair-cost housings under sales are Inwa Housing and Kaungsanthar Housing in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, Yuzana Housing (I,II) and Kanaung Housing in Dagon Seikkan Township, Kyiepwaryay Housing in Thingangun Township, Shwelinban Housing and Hteehlaing Housing in Hlaingtharyar Township and Shwepaukkan Housing in North Okalapa Township. All these housings can be purchased through 15 years installment plan.
