The Yangon Regional Government will submit the projects which will be continuously implemented during three years to the regional Hluttaw in April 2018, said U Phyo Min Thein, Chief Minister of Yangon Region.
The projects will be submitted to Hluttaw for the local businessmen in order to know the projects which will be implemented during remaining three years under the current government. In addition, the diplomats and businessmen will be invited for planning the project, U Phyo Min Thein said.
“This submission is important. All businessmen need to know what will go forward? Which type of business will be undertaken? How do they plan for the development of their business? That’s why, all the urban projects will be submitted to Hluttaw,” U Phyo Min Thein added.
In addition, it is planning to implement the Industrial Zones in 12 townships including Coco Islands outside the municipal boundaries. Not only three-year projects but also Yangon SEZ and Yangon Myothit Project will be submitted to Hluttaw, according to the Yangon Regional Government.
“It is not a system that asks for money from the businessmen in various reasons. That system is left in the past. Now, we are trying to implement the system which is easier to carry out the processes. Efforts are being made in order to prepare terms and procedures,” U Phyo Min Thein said.
