Efforts are being made for the Myanmar workers in foreign countries to link with the foreign banks to keep the monthly savings to be able to buy a house
Union Minister U Win Khaing, Patron of Construction and Housing Development Bank said that they are implementing plans by linking with Foreign Banks for Myanmar workers in the foreign countries in order to keep the monthly savings to buy a house and to get Housing Mortgage Loan which can be paid with installment plan.
According to the issue by Ministry of Information, it is known that this subject is said in the fourth annual ceremony of Construction and Housing Development Bank held in Yangon.
The Government is carrying out to build the housings for sales and rent by cooperating with Construction and Housing Development Bank, Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Accosiation (MCEA).
The government will add into the State’s capital more and will consult to get the rise amount of Two-Step Loan with local and external financial organizations and banks.
Among the state’s necessary development sectors which are still needed, the housing sector becomes an important sector. Moreover, there is a government policy which is laid down to implement the housing sector as a priority.
According to the original objectives of the housing sector, efforts were made to open the branches of Hosing Development Bank. As a result, eleven branches could be opened in six regions and two states and will be extended in the remaining regions and states, said U Win Khaing, Union Minister.
