A South Florida home once owned by Bill Gates hit the market on Wednesday for $23.5 million.
A limited liability company tied to Gates—Front Range Investment Holdings, LLC—bought the Jupiter Island property in 2009 for $5 million, according to Martin County records.
In 2018, it sold at a loss for $4 million to businessman John Textor. Textor has long worked in the digital media industry, serving as the executive chairman of FuboTV from 2018 to 2020.
He’s now the chairman of Eagle Football Holdings Limited, the leading shareholder of professional football clubs Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro, Crystal Palace F.C. in London, RWD Molenbeek in Brussels, and Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon, France.

Textor didn’t respond to a request for comment.
Sitting on 200 feet of waterfront along the Intracoastal Waterway, the single-level mansion spans nearly 9,500 square feet with four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two half-baths.
The house is outfitted with a whole-home speaker system and Lutron lighting, and much of the home has marble flooring, save for some of the bedrooms, according to the listing with Susan Hemmes with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
While many Florida homes come with outdoor pools, this one has an indoor pool and hot tub, which are surrounded by a spacious patio.
The indoor pool area, which has a wood-paneled ceiling, leads to the backyard, where there are both covered and uncovered patio spaces and an outdoor kitchen.

The backyard leads down to the water, where there’s a dock with a 30,000-pound boat lift and additional boat slip with solar-powered lighting.
Other features include an eight-car garage, an EV charging station and a mosquito control system.
Jupiter Island, which is located north of the town of Jupiter and runs east of Hobe Sound, is one of the wealthiest enclaves in South Florida.
Textor’s mansion is one of 10 homes currently on the market for $20 million or above, and the town’s cheapest home for sale is asking $3.75 million.
