The incredible house that's 1,200 square foot and was built in just three hours

This house broke records for being the fastest house ever built at just over three hours total construction time.

Usually, building work takes months of time and planning - but not for this house.

Today, building work has sped up greatly due to advancements made in terms of technology and techniques but even with this in mind, most houses wouldn’t be built anywhere near as fast as this one was.

The house, in Shelby County, Alabama, is a single-family home which holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest home ever built.

It was built in 2002 but still holds the record today.

Completed on 17 December, 2002, this 1,200-square-foot house, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, was constructed in just 3 hours, 26 minutes, and 34 seconds, reports Building Radar.

It was part of a charity initiative by Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing for low-income families.

But this isn’t the only house built on a tight timeline, in second place for fastest house ever built is a house in Amsterdam.

The Heijmans One House addresses the housing shortage by offering prefabricated houses that can be assembled in just a day.

Designed by the Dutch construction company Heijmans, these houses come equipped with solar panels, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom.

And in third place is the Instacon Tower, in Mohali, India.

This 10-storey commercial building in Mohali, India, was constructed in just 48 hours.

Synergy Thrislington, an infrastructure company, used prefabricated steel modules to build the structure which can accommodate up to 600 people.
