London penthouse in a building once home to Britain's de facto first prime minister is for sale for £15.5m

A luxury penthouse that is part of a building once home to Britain's de facto first prime minister is up for grabs for £15.5million.

The three-bedroom London abode is in The Walpole development of two period townhouse adjacent to the famous Ritz hotel.

The building was once occupied by Sir Robert Walpole, who is considered to be the first prime minister of Britain, with him having served his term in power between 1721 and 1742.
