According to lifestyle magazine Augustman, a 14-year-old boy named Kairan Quasi is about to graduate from college and work for SpaceX, making him the youngest graduate in the history of Santa Clara University. He is also said to be the youngest employee to work at Elon Musk's SpaceX.
Quasi started college when he was nine years old and became an undergraduate intern with Intel Labs at the age of 11.
Despite being so young, Quasi has made close friends and doesn't feel isolated. He will move to Washington State with his mom to work with SpaceX.
In an interview with a news channel, Quasi said that his parents noticed his extraordinary intelligence when he was in the fifth grade. Quasi was already speaking full sentences by the time he was two years old; and his teachers, parents, and pediatrician quickly realized that traditional mainstream education was not the right path for him. His exceptional IQ and emotional intelligence lead him to pursue higher education at a young age.
Seeking a more intellectually stimulating environment, Quazi said that he is grateful for the opportunities provided by his mentors, who saw beyond his age and recognized his potential.
While unable to partake in activities such as driving or watching R-rated movies, he now embraces the opportunity to work full-time as a software engineer at SpaceX.
As the boy embarks on this new journey, he remains grounded, acknowledging that while his childhood may differ from the norm, he is eager to continue pursuing his passion for software engineering and making meaningful contributions to the field.
