Tommy Lee is trending all because the heavily tattooed Mötley Crüe drummer shared a full-frontal selfie on Instagram and Facebook on Thursday, with the caption “Ooooopppsss.”
It took Instagram, a social media platform that is owned by Meta, formerly known as Facebook at least four hours to take the photo down. Many now believe is a brazen display of double standards in the way Instagram enforces its rules.
Not only did Tommy Lee violate its rule on nudity, which nobody believes is an accident. He hasn’t been punished by the social media platform and his Instagram account remains active.

Tommy Lee shares picture of his genitals and begs for ‘collab’ with Mr. Peanut
The Mötley Crüe drummer has, once again, shared a photo of his balls to social media - this time tagging Mr. Peanut and asking the snack mascot for a 'collab'.
It all started when Planters, the company that owns the Mr. Peanut logo, launched a 'made to be roasted' contest, challenging fans to 'roast' Mr. Peanut for a chance to win $10,000 (£8,200).

Fans have been firing off pretty harmless 'roasts' on Twitter directed at Mr. Peanut, but the game swiftly ended when Tommy Lee decided to join in.
Tweeting a photo of his own 'nuts' from behind - surely not the best angle he could have chosen - Tommy tweeted: "Hey @MrPeanut let's collab!... I'll bring the NUTZ!!!!"
Comedy gold, that. And yes, I am going to show you the picture.

As you can probably imagine, the people of Twitter were pretty horrified by Tommy's post.
"Every few weeks tommy lee decides to post a part of his body and traumatised the human population," one person tweeted.
"If I had a nickel for every time I’d seen Tommy Lee’s genitalia, I’d have two nickels," wrote another. "Which isn’t a lot, but it’s strange that it’s happened twice."
And a third penned: "What a terrible day to have eyes."
Others couldn't help but analyse Tommy's genitals - he did share them with the world, after all.
"Just saying... that looks painful lol," one pointed out. "Why are they so damn long," wondered a second.
Will that sort of criticism make Tommy think twice before he shares his nudes with the world again? Probably not, no. Tommy's no stranger to sharing pictures of his nether regions with the world.
Just last August he brazenly posted a d**k pic to Instagram - an app that has way heftier nudity restrictions than Twitter.

See Inside Tommy Lee’s Luxurious New $4.15 Million Los Angeles Home
The deal arrives as the Mötley Crüe musician tries to sell the Calabasas home he’s owned since 2007, currently listed at $4.6 million.
He’s swapping space for style; though the Brentwood home covers a mere 4,300 square feet compared to the nearly 10,000-square-foot house he’s trying to sell, it
features Zen-inspired living spaces with wraparound glass and artisan woodwork such as Japanese tansu cabinetry and Brazilian mahogany.

The property’s outdoor spaces rival its indoor ones. Stone pathways wind through dense gardens of ferns, herbs and bamboo, leading to a waterfall-fed pool, Japanese teahouse and koi pond with a small wood dock.
Lee, 58, co-founded Mötley Crüe in 1981, and in the decades since, the heavy metal band has released nine studio albums and sold more than 100 million albums with hits such as “Kickstart My Heart,” “Home Sweet Home” and “Shout at the Devil.” In the 1990s, Lee also founded the rap rock band Methods of Mayhem.
