A 33-year-old Japanese man has been raising eyebrows because of his radical change in appearance after making drastic lifestyle changes and turning to cosmetic enhancements.
Aki, who goes by @Aki_fit on X (Twitter), was recently featured on a popular show by Japanese online television network ABEMA, where he spoke about the shocking physical transformation that made him somewhat of an anti-aging guru on social media.
The 33-year-old man said that everything started 10 years ago, after his boss at the time ridiculed him for looking much older than his age and going bald.
His girlfriend broke up with him soon after that, so he was in a real dark place, but instead of wallowing in self-pity, he decided to completely change his way of life to become a better version of himself.
Over the last decade, Aki adopted a very strict regimen that included applying sunscreen every day, rain or shine, exercising regularly, having regular stomach check-ups, and regularly visiting a spa for skin care.
He also gave up smoking and staying up late, and began investing in cosmetic procedures to enhance his physical appearance.
He regularly gets Botox injections and makes sure that his hairline stays in place with the help of hair transplants.
“My skin now looks the same as it did 10 years ago,” Aki told ABEMA. “People also treat me more gently since my appearance changed, looking young gives me an advantage in both work and love.”
Aki went viral in Japan after making an appearance on ABEMA TV, but he has been preaching his anti-aging regimen online for years, using before-and-after photos of himself to show people how far he’s come.
