Obsessed James Brown sparked two blazes at his home fuelled by his fascination with the fire brigade. Firefighters were sent to Brown's home twice in one night after he rang them reporting fire in his fuse box. Newcastle Crown Court heard it was the culmination of 80 calls to the service he had made in a year. He was described as having a "fascination" and "obsession" with the fire service, rather than fires, and said in an ideal world he would like to be firefighter.
