Mahar Nawarat Condominium project between 50th street and 51tht street in Botahtaung Township, 52-48 joint venture between Urban and Housing Development Department and a local developer named Myanmar Golden King Peacock and Mahar Nawarat Land has completed.
This was a project that redeveloped the existing housing to a 12 story housing project with around 200 apartments that are between 600-1,400 square feet. The original residents have received apartments along with owner book.
“It is owned by the Department of Urban and Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction. It has a basement, parking lots, CCTVs, emergency fire extinguisher system and five elevators. If you have an owner book for an apartment, you can sell it at any time. Therefore, we gave them ownerbook,” U Win Naing, Director of Department of Urban and Housing Development, said.
iMyanmar house sold apartments from that project on 9-10 this month with a 20 percent discount over a course of 15 years paid through an installment payment plan with KBZ Home Loan.
