The meeting on the project to begin construction of the 3,000 housing units for the retired civil servants was held at the meeting hall of Naypyidaw City Development Committee on March 17, according to the committee.
At the meeting, Deputy Mayor asked the plans for the groundbreaking and beginning the construction as soon as the groundbreaking works. In addition, bricks will be sold from the committee's brick factory for immediate construction work.
He added that the department is planning the matters about land and other infrastructures to be completed in time. And the delegates from Myanmar construction entrepreneurs association and Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association explained the working conditions of the groundbreaking and the matters to proceed.
The meeting was attended by members of Naypyidaw City Development Committee, delegates and officials from Myanmar construction entrepreneurs association and Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, according to reports.
