Union Minister for Construction U Han Zaw visited the site and looked into the construction of bored piles of Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge on March 15, according to the state-run newspaper.
In the morning, Deputy Director-General U Kyaw Kaung Cho from the Bridge Management Department explained the construction of the bridge, temporary bridge and working platform to conduct bored piles of main bridge works. And then Mr.
Yun Ho Cho, Project Director from GS Engineering & Construction Corporation, explained the activities in Yangon and Dala parts, preparations for the main bridge work, to ensure not to damage natural environment and to conduct the safety of working conditions.
The Union Minister for Construction U Han Zaw also instructed to emphasize the workplace safety and to perform bored piles construction according to the set qualified standards and inspected warning signs for the safety of ships and small boats in the Yangon River.
