Plans for a 30-lakh kyat housing project in Hlaingtharya township

The K 30 million worth of housings are also being built for those who have difficulty living in Hlaingthaya township under the management of the Yangon Region government.

Currently, the construction of 30 lakhs worth housings are allocated in Shwepyithar Township and more than 400 houses in Dagon Myothit (South) township and about 300 houses in Dagon Myothit (East) are to be built as the second project.

It will be continued building in Hlaingthayar township, according to reports. In addition, families who can’t afford much money and have a few family members don’t need the large size of a home and the essential needs are a toilet, a kitchen and a bedroom. If they were to be set up for the house, it would be as much as they could afford.

That would be up to 100,000 lakhs or 150,0000 lakhs or 200,0000 lakhs based on how much money they will use, said Daw Van Li Zar Aung, director of Pyoe Mae Eain, which is implementing a K30-million housing project.
