The multi-purpose natural disaster-resistant shelter was opened on March 7 in the Say Toattaya township, Minbu District, Magway Region, according to Information and Public Relations Department.
Magway Region Chief Minister Dr. Aung Moe Nyo, Regional Hluttaw Speaker U Tar, Minister of Natural Resources, Environment, Electricity and Energy U Myint Zaw, Magway Region (1) Hluttaw Representative Daw Nyo Nyo Oo cut the ribbon and opened the ceremony. According to MOI, the building was built by Myint Mo Sanhtar Company as of August, 2019 with the budget of 194 million kyats of the Department of Disaster Management. The building is a type of two-storey AC building and is 70 feet long, 60 feet wide, 21 feet high.
