The eleventh alley-way garden opened in Pabedan township

The eleventh alley-way park was opened in Pabedan township at No.9 ward, between 31st and 32nd streets, lower block, on March 8, according to Yangon Region Government.

The opening ceremony of the eleventh backstreet park of Doe Eain Charity was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Yangon Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Lin Naing Myint, Yangon Mayor U Maung Maung Soe, Deputy Mayor U Soe Lwin and members of the Yangon City Development Committee, Hluttaw representatives, officials from Doe Eain Charity and the invited guests.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein said that people in high-rise apartments find it difficult to have a large area and green space, and if the alleys are set as gardens in order to get opportunities that apartment dwellers can take for a short walk, children can play and it will be very helpful to the people.

Yangon Mayor U Maung Maung Soe , Kanbawza Bank Senior Administration Director U Zaw Lin Aung expressed rejoicing over the plan. AAPP Secretaty U Tate Naing and Assistant Director Balvali explained the working situation and objectives of the project and Regional Hluttaw Representative U Than Naing Oo expressed thankful words.
