The 36th Blue Heritage Plaque was installed at Inya Lake Hotel in Yangon on February 18, according to reports.
The design of Inya Lake Hotel was created by famous Soviet architect Viktor Semyonovich Andreyev and female architect Kaleriya Dimitriyevan Kislova. It was built between 1958 and 1962 and it became one of the modern architectures.
The purpose of the installation of Blue Heritage Plaque is to make historic places more valuable, to get more people to know about lesser-known buildings and to make Yangon’s history accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
