According to the state-run newspaper, shops and gates of Chan Mya Shwe Pyi (Kywe Se Kan) temporary highway bus station were drawn lots on February 16.
Chan Mya Shwe Pyi (Kywe Se Kan) Temporary Bus Station complex, which is situated between 73th and 74th Streets, Pyigyitagon township, Mandalay, was built on 10 acres of land near the end of the Tagonetine circle.
The 100 shops and 213 car gate rooms from 156 car associations on the first floor were drawn lots and the event was attended by U Thet Naing who heads the Revenues Department of MCDC, officials, members of car gates rules and regulations administration committee, shopkeepers, shop owners, representatives and the invited guests, according to reports.
M-Development Corporation (Myanmar) Company has been granted 50 years to upgrade the complex with BOT system by 2015 and will be upgraded to international standard highway bus station within two years.
