Actor James Jagger Is Selling 1930s Los Angeles Bungalow

Actor James Jagger is selling a charming bungalow in the historic Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles for $1.295 million.

The eldest son of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall has owned the charming two-bedroom home in the city’s artsy Silver Lake neighborhood for three years.

The 1930s hilltop house, doused in a layer of olive-green paint, hit the market on Friday.

Mr. Jagger, the eldest son of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall, has owned the two-bedroom for a little over three years, according to property records.

The artsy neighborhood, a white-hot market attractive to entry-level luxury home buyers, is chock full of historic architecture.

This particular abode was completed in 1937 and nestled on a quiet dead-end street lined in a medley of similar pre-war bungalows and post-and-beam Mid-Century Modern architecture.

“I think what’s most charming about this house is the way they’ve modernized it but kept all of the historic charm,” said listing agent Cari Field, who’s co-marketing the home with Krista Crews, both of ACME Real Estate.

The modest house clocks in at slightly larger than 1,100 square feet, including two bedrooms and one bathroom.

An interior renovation just before Mr. Jagger bought the home opened up the interiors, installed more built-in bookshelves and reoriented the kitchen to give it an airier feel, Ms. Field said.

Mr. Jagger, who couldn’t immediately be reached for comment, bought the home in late 2016 for $1.2 million, according to property records.

The actor, who starred in the 2016 HBO series “Vinyl,” is selling because he’s “outgrown the house,” the agent added.
