Public rental housing units will be constructed in Sagaing Region, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
In the fiscal year 2019-2020, fourteen housing units in 12 townships and a total of 196 apartments in Sagaing Region will be built for public servants for living in peace and security, according to reports.
Twenty housing units and 276 apartments have been completed in the fiscal year 2018-19 and housing units are starting to be allocated for public staff, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
Five public rental housing units and 190 apartments will be built with the cost of 20,000 kyats per month for public servants, retired government employees and low-income people in five townships in Sagaing Region in accordance with the direction of Sagaing Region Government.
