Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) signed an agreement contract with Netherlands to supply clean water project for 70pc of Pyigyitagun township on 18 December, 2019 according to Mandalay city Mayor’s facebook page.
The project will be conducted with 50pc of the assistance of Netherlands and 50pc loan.
The project aims to be able to supply clean water to the population of over 200000 and three industrial zones in Pyigyitagun township.
Drinking water will be produced after taking good quality water from Duhtawaddy River and is purified at drinking water factories.
