Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, who is also the founder and former CEO of ice cream chain Cold Stone Creamery, listed his family estate for $8.75 million last week.
Situated on a country club golf course, the 2.14-acre Paradise Valley estate offers unobstructed mountain views. The French-style farmhouse on the sprawling land, which was built in 2009, boasts six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the listing.
The 11,412-square-foot residence features plaster walls and ironwork, and is embellished with antique French oak flooring and timber beams. There is also an eight-car garage on the property, the listing says.
The kitchen is equipped with custom white oak cabinetry, Belgian bluestone countertops, terracotta tile flooring, and a reclaimed brick fireplace opening to a living room, which connects to the outdoor patio and outdoor bar and kitchen, says the listing. The Duceys bought the estate in 2005 under an LLC with $1.825 million, according to records on PropertyShark.
Vicki Potolicchio, the Scottsdale-based listing agent with eXp Realty, did not immediately respond to a phone call seeking comment for the article.
Multiple rooms of the property open to covered patios, courtyards and walkways with outdoor fireplaces and seating areas. Other amenities include six fireplaces, a four-car garage, a wine cellar and a 1,200-square-foot guesthouse, according to the listing.
