Demand in real estate market in Mandalay Myo Thit has been growing, said U Tin Maung, the chair of the executive committee of Myanmar Real Estate Development Association.
The property market has been lucklustre in the inner city due to higher prices. Sales of properties have been brisk in Myo Thit.
Buyers are mainly from Lashio and Musal cities in northern Shan state including refugees. Currently, properties at the price of K 3000 are in higher demand due to a reduction in the taxes for property.
And therefore the number of property transactions have increased. Mandalay property market will be growing in 2020 if there is no tax changes.
Not only sale market but rental market are seeing higher demands, according to Myanmar Real Estate Development Association. The land plot is at the price of nearly K billion per acre according to Mandalay property prices data released on November.
